ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca Police are investigating an alleged stabbing.

Police say two men got into a fight around 3:55 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of East Green St. One man allegedly used pepper spray against the other, who then stabbed the victim in the thigh.

IPD is charging 40-year-old John-Paul Cisneros with felony assault and misdemeanor menacing and possession of a weapon. Cisnero was arraigned and taken to the Tompkins County jail. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bail bond.

The victim is getting treatment for a non-life-threatening wound.
