CORTLAND, NY (CortacaToday) — State Senator John Mannion has won the Democratic primary for Congress. 

Mannion will face Congressman Brandon Williams in the 22nd district this November. The redrawn district includes parts of Cortland County, where Mannion’s primary opponent Sarah Klee Hood had more votes in the unofficial tally.

Mannion says he’ll continue running his campaign on issues and his record.

There were no primaries in Tompkins or Tioga counties.
