ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A resolution to approve emergency repairs to Fall Creek Elementary School was approved.
The Ithaca City School District’s Board of Education voted to transfer $100,000 from the unappropriated fund balance of the district’s budget to fix a damaged wall.
Police say a suspect rammed a vehicle into the Linn Street side of the school building Thursday during a high-speed chase. On Friday, Fall Creek Elementary School was open for normal class schedules.
Tuesday’s vote was unanimous.
