ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Tonight, September 24th, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., there will be a public meeting at the Lehman Alternative Community School (LACS) about the proposed housing complex developers aim to build on lower Elm Street.

Developers will present information and answer questions from the public during the meeting.

The development has been met with mixed reviews from the public, as some Ithaca residents voice concern about the mature forest that currently sits where the complex is proposed to be built.
