ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Eleven nonprofit organizations around Tompkins County are receiving funding for projects.

The Rotary Club of Ithaca has announced the Community Grant Awardees for 2023. Projects that received the awards promote quality of life in the greater Ithaca area and Tompkins County.

“Our goal is to fully fund a local agency’s project,” said Ithaca Rotary member and co-chair of the Community Grant Program, Kelly Buck. “The grants are not huge, but they really help our nonprofits meet their mission.”

Several directors of nonprofits receiving funding this year say their projects would not have been able to be completed with the Ithaca Rotary Club grants. Each year, the club awards a total of $10,000 in grants.
