LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – A 43-year-old man is facing felonies after a New York State Parole compliance check in Lansing.

On September 24, members of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office assisted state authorities to conduct a check at the village residence of Rashad McDuffie.

During the operation, law enforcement allegedly found 102 grams of suspected cocaine, and placed McDuffie under arrest.

McDuffie is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and remanded to Tompkins County Jail without bail.
