ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca College football team is one win away from capturing the Liberty League championship.

On Saturday, the Bombers will host RPI at 1 p.m. at Butterfield Stadium. Ithaca Head Coach Brandon Maguire isn’t fazed by the weather forecast.

“The cool thing is that it’s going to rain, and our guys feel really good about playing in really any kind of elements,” he said during the Tompkins County Football Luncheon on Thursday.

Maguire said the Bombers had a fast practice earlier this week.

“They were flying around,” he said. “They’re excited to get out there on the field.”

Ithaca enters the matchup on a seven-game win streak. The visitors are also red-hot: RPI has won five straight games.

In November 2025, the Bombers beat RPI 24-23.
