CANDOR, NY (607NewsNow) – A Tioga County woman awaits her day in court.

On September 20, deputies arrested Chelsey Ceurter, of Candor, for failure to pay child support.

The warrant, which was issued by Tioga County Family Court, came with an order of commitment to Tioga County Jail. While in custody, authorities allegedly found suspected heroin on the 35-year-old.

Ceurter is additionally charged with misdemeanor drug possession, and a felony for promoting prison contraband. She was arraigned and remanded to Tioga County Jail.
