CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Cortland man is facing multiple charges in a sex abuse investigation.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Jeffrey George Jr. on Monday. George is accused of having inappropriate contact with a victim known to him on March 26 in Cortlandville.

George has been charged with felony criminal sexual act, felony sexual abuse, and misdemeanor forcible touching. George is scheduled to appear in Cortlandville Town Court on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
