CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — An Ithaca man is charged in Cortland after a parking lot disturbance.
Cortland Police say three people were found parked Saturday in the Port Watson Street lot, and one person tried hiding a gun. Police say 23-year-old Thulani Ntombela did not have a legal permit for the gun, which authorities add was not used during the disturbance.
Officers also found cocaine on Ntombela, who’s charged with criminal possession of a weapon and a controlled substance. The weapons charge is a felony. He’ll return to court April 17.
