LANSING, N.Y. (WHCU) — Voters have approved a capital project in the Lansing Central School District.

It passed Tuesday by a single vote, 447 to 446. The close results were counted twice and certified. District officials will now move to the design phase of the Bobcat Project, which is nearly $17 million in building and infrastructure improvements.

The project had been delayed because of COVID-19 and a pause in public school construction.
