ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Meteorologists say don’t hold your breath for a white Christmas this year.
It’s unlikely that any snow will remain on the ground come Monday. The National Weather Service is calling for warmer temperatures and rain over the weekend in the Southern Tier and Central New York.
The National Weather Service defines a ‘white Christmas’ as at least 1 inch of snow on the ground on Christmas morning.
