WAVERLY, NY (607NewsNow) – A new dog park is set to open in Tioga County.

On July 25, the Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Stray Haven SPCA in Waverly to celebrate the grand opening of Curly’s Forever Paws Dog Park.

The free park is open to the public. It was named and paid for by an anonymous donor who adopted a dog named Curly from Stray Haven.

The event takes place at noon on Friday. You can learn more about Stray Haven SPCA here.
