ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A fun run created by a student in the Ithaca City School District hopes to raise more money for the Southside Community Center.

Izzy Laforge started the fun run to create more awareness for racial inequality and injustices when she was an eighth grader at Trumansburg. Now a sophomore at Ithaca High School, Laforge says this year participants can gather for a walk or run at the Moresco Stadium track Sunday starting at 10.

All money raised will be donated to the Southside Community Center.
