TIOGA, NY (607NewsNow) — A Spencer man faces a felony. 

State Police say Izac Hammond was arrested Sunday for stabbing a man during an argument the previous night in the town of Tioga. The victim was stabbed in the chest but is expected to survive.

The 25-year-old Hammond was charged with assault, though two misdemeanors were added after troopers say he got into a fight with a different person at the same address shortly before the alleged stabbing.
