PORT BYRON, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cayuga County bank robbery is under investigation.

On January 6, a man walked into the Port Byron village branch of Savannah Bank just before 3:30 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. The suspect, who wore a black cloth mask, grey jack and pants, and purple rubber gloves was last seen walking south on Main Street in Port Byron.

Anyone with relevant information or who may recognize the pictured suspect is asked to contact State Police in Auburn.
