HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – A traffic stop leads to multiple criminal charges in Homer.

On January 2, Homer Police stopped Casey Chorley, of Marathon, on South West Street in the village for inadequate taillights. The 34-year-old Chorley was driving on a suspended license, and officers say they found drugs and a digital scale in the car.

Chorley was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony tampering with physical evidence, misdemeanor aggravated unlicensed operation, two counts of misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia, and a violation for no taillights.

Chorley was remanded to Cortland County Jail.
