ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca Police Department says they’re investigating an accident involving an IPD vehicle and an unnamed pedestrian.

According to a press release issued Sunday morning by IPD, the accident occurred Saturday evening in the area of Green and Cayuga Streets. “The pedestrian is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries,” police say.

“In accordance with Ithaca Police Department policy, an investigation into this accident is being conducted,” the statement continued.
