(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Shelby (Top L) and Jas (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Shelby is approximately 2-3 years old and came to the shelter in May 2024 as a stray. She had already been spayed, meaning she was someone’s pet before living on the streets. Although she can get agitated with other cats in the shelter and would do best as the only cat in the house, she loves people and affection and just needs a home that’s a good fit for her. She been spayed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.

Jas is about 2 years old and was a mom before arriving in foster care. She was very shy when first brought to her foster home but has really opened up. Jas has a quiet but curious demeanor and loves playing with her little puff balls and snuggling with her kittens. She also enjoys ear scratches and back rubs. She is FIV positive and still looks and acts like any other cat. FIV is only transmitted to other felines primarily through deep, penetrating bite wounds. Her adoption fee has been waived in the name of finding her a good home. She has been spayed, tested negative for FeLV, and is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines.

Next, we have Teagan (Bottom L) and Theo (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Teagan is 3 years old and is half of a bonded pair with her sister. They each have their own personalities, yet find comfort in playing with each other and spending time together. Teagan is a little more outgoing; ready for introductions and play, whereas her sister Talia is a little more shy. They both love treat time and will come running at the first shake of the bag. Curious, playful, and sweet, they are ready to find their forever home together.

Theo is about nine months old and is a vibrant young pup with a heart full of love and a spirit bursting with energy. He is a playful, intelligent boy who is always ready for a game of fetch or a puzzle toy challenge. Theo’s goofy antics will keep you laughing, and his sweet nature will melt your heart. He’s a bundle of joy who’s always on the go, so he would thrive in a home where he can have a job to keep him busy.
