ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca Town Supervisor Rod Howe is stepping down.

“It is time,” he said in a statement.

Howe’s last day on the job will be Sept. 18. He’ll be succeeded by Deputy Town Supervisor Eric Levine.

Howe has served as supervisor since January 2020. He said he’s focused on ensuring a smooth transition.
