HORSEHEADS, NY (607NewsNow) — More arrests are likely after an alleged assault in July.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office says Brian Patterson struck someone in the knee last month with a breaker bar. The alleged attack happened on Wygant Rd. in the town of Horseheads.

Patterson, who’s 42, is in the Chemung County jail on a charge of felony assault. Deputies expect to make additional arrests.
