DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — Bridge work is beginning in Dryden.

In late March, crews started constructing a pedestrian bridge that will be placed over Route 13. Dryden Town Supervisor Jason Leifer tells 607 News Now it’s a multi-step process.

Leifer expects the bridge to be installed in the fall.

The pedestrian bridge will accommodate people walking, jogging, or riding a bicycle. It’ll connect Dryden with Varna on the rail trail.
