DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) – An investigation into a gunshot incident in Dryden is underway.

Dryden Police Officers responded to a complaint of shots fired in the village around 10:48 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Authorities say the investigation confirmed a shooting occurred. A suspect was taken into custody on scene and arrested, though the suspect’s identity nor charges have been announced.

Investigators are still trying to locate the firearm. No property damage or injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
