TRIANGLE, NY (CortacaToday) – A Whitney Point man faces multiple charges after a vehicle collision in Broome County.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Town of Triangle around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, for a report of a two-vehicle accident.
When they arrived, police say Travis Ross was in his pickup truck, parked on top of a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The 35-year-old allegedly admitted he intended to ram the car but ended up on top of it, adding he was sick of repeated crime in the area and unknown vehicles parking on his road.

Two victims inside the car fled the scene. One hid nearby while the other went to a Byrne Dairy and called 911. No injuries were reported.
Ross is charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, all felonies. He was arraigned and released to appear in the Town of Triangle Court at a later date.
