ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A man who witnesses say pulled a knife on them faces charges in Ithaca.

Ithaca Police were patrolling the Commons on foot around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, when victims approached them claiming a man had brandished the weapon near the 100 block of South Cayuga Street. The suspect was located a short time later after authorities canvassed the area. IPD says the victims identified 22-year-old Jared Manley, of Spencer, and he was arrested without incident.

Manley is charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor menacing. He was arraigned and will return to Ithaca City Court at a later date.
