ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Ithaca Police are looking into a possible hate crime.

IPD was called shortly after midnight Saturday to East State Street where two people say they were attacked by four men. Derogatory comments about the victim’s ethnicity were allegedly made by the suspects, who are described as two Black men and two white men.

Police say the injuries are not life threatening.

It’s IPD’s second hate crime investigation in as many weeks.
