ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — A former Cornell student will spend over a year in prison for antisemitic threats.

The Cornell Daily Sun reports Patrick Dai was sentenced to 21 months behind bars, plus three years of supervised release. He accepted a plea deal today for the charge of posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications.

Last October, Dai threatened a mass shooting at a Jewish dining hall at Cornell.

Today in court, he reportedly showed his remorse.

“It’s all my fault,” Dai said.

His attorney plans to file an appeal.
