ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) – A busy intersection near Collegetown is set to close.

Ithaca city crews will begin a valve replacement project at the intersection of Stewart Avenue and East Seneca Street on Monday. A detour will direct drivers around the work zone. The 100 and 200 blocks of Stewart Ave will also be closed. Traffic delays are likely.

That work is scheduled to wrap up at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. Local water service interruptions are likely on Tuesday.
