NEWFIELD, NY (CortacaToday) — The Newfield Central School District will need a new leader. 

Tuesday on Ithaca’s Morning News, Superintendent Eric Hartz said he is retiring. 

Hartz, who was named Newfield’s superintendent in the summer of 2020, tells us he had an end date in mind. 

Hartz will work through the end of the 2024 to 2025 school year.
