CORTLANDVILLE, NY (CortacaToday) – State Police announce an arrest in an alleged Cortlandville burglary after a months-long investigation.
Benny Curry, of Syracuse, is accused of breaking into the Route 281 AT&T store on February 12 and stealing a cash register. Authorities say the 59-year-old smashed the front glass of the business to gain entry. Curry was arrested on Monday while serving time for an unrelated crime in Oneida County.
Curry was transported to Cortland County Jail for arraignment on a single count of felony burglary. He will return to court at a later date.
