BROOKTONDALE, NY (CortacaToday) — State Police are investigating a serious crash involving a scooter.

Troopers say Marissa McKown was riding a scooter Sunday evening on North Lounsberry Road in Brooktondale when, for reasons unknown, she went off the road and struck a ditch.

The 44-year-old Ithaca woman is reportedly in serious condition.
