ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — The Ithaca Tompkins International Airport wants to save money. 

Director Roxan Noble told members of the Budget, Capital, and Personnel Committee on Thursday that creating two new full-time jobs will reduce costs. 

Noble believes it would make emergency responses more efficient. 

The committee voted 5-0 for the resolution, which Noble says would help the airport become a 24/7 operation. It goes to the full Legislature on Tuesday.
