ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Cayuga Health is responding to questions about children care. 

Officials say some pediatricians reached out to patients Wednesday saying they would no longer admit kids to the CMC Pediatric Unit from the emergency department. Cayuga Health says the unit remains open, and that care for children in the emergency department continues 24/7.

In addition, Cayuga Health is working on adding more pediatric providers. Some cases may need to be moved to another facility.
