ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — Preliminary results are in from Tuesday’s school budget re-votes.
Voters in the Ithaca City School District said yes to the $163 million proposed spending plan (4.979 to 1,736 votes) and $1.6 million to buy some new vehicles (4,593 to 2,104 votes).
In the Newfield Central School District, the $25.4 million proposed budget also passed 387 to 261.
Results will be certified by the boards of education in both districts at meetings on Thursday.
