ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — Two school districts in Tompkins County where budgets were rejected last month are holding public hearings on new spending plans.
On Monday, the Newfield Central School District is holding a forum on a 25.4 million dollar proposed budget for the next school year. It’s the only proposition for Newfield’s school budget re-vote.
The next day, the Ithaca City School District will hold a hearing on their budget proposal and bus purchase proposition.
Both districts are having their re-vote on June 18.
