ITHACA, NY (WHCU) — The Ithaca City School District is moving ahead with a budget re-vote.
The school board unanimously agreed Tuesday on holding a public hearing June 11 at Ithaca High School, ahead of the second attempt at passing the 2024 to 2025 school year budget on June 18.
Also on the ballot will be a 1.6-million-dollar proposal to purchase two more electric buses and other vehicles.
Recently, Newfield’s school board also approved a June 18 re-vote after their proposed budget failed on May 14.
