ITHACA, N.Y. 9WHCU) — The Ithaca City School District has a big budget proposal.

Superintendent Luvelle Brown says the $168 million spending plan is over six percent larger than this year’s budget.

There’s also a steep decrease in federal and state aid.

Polls for Tuesday’s school budget vote in Ithaca are open from noon to nine o’clock.
