BRONX, NY (607NewsNow) — If you can’t travel to see this year’s Cortaca Jug game in person, you’ll be able to catch the action on TV.
The traditional football clash between SUNY Cortland and Ithaca College, which is being played next month at Yankee Stadium, will air on the YES Network.
“We’re very excited for this year’s Cortaca Jug game to return to the YES Network, offering a unique opportunity to showcase Red Dragon pride on an even larger stage,” SUNY Cortland President Erik Bitterbaum said. “Of course, we hope to see a historic showing of Cortland fans at Yankee Stadium on gameday. But this broadcast will bring the biggest little game to one of the biggest regional sports networks in the U.S., highlighting SUNY Cortland in a truly extraordinary way.”
In 2022, the Bombers and Red Dragons faced off at Yankee Stadium in front of over 40,000 fans. That came was also shown on the YES Network.
“Cortaca brings the Ithaca College community together across generations and across the country,” President La Jerne Terry Cornish said. “We would love to have every Bomber fan join us at Yankee Stadium, but we know that isn’t possible. Having the game on YES means more of our alumni, families, and friends can share in an afternoon that means so much to IC.”
The 2026 Cortaca Jug game will be played Saturday, Nov. 14. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. If you don’t have YES, it’ll also be streamed on the sports streaming platform DAZN.
