CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — The SUNY Cortland women’s soccer team couldn’t take full advantage of an early goal.

About five minutes into Tuesday’s game against Nazareth, Cortland senior Piper Klammer scored on a header. It was Klammer’s third goal of the season.

In the second half, Nazareth sophomore Giuliana Rodriguez tied the score on a free kick. That proved to be the final goal of the game, which ended 1-1.

Cortland will next compete in the SUNYAC playoffs. The tournament begins next week; it’s unclear who the Red Dragons will play.
