CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) – A Marathon man is facing a felony.

On September 16, deputies arrested 46-year-old Daniel Buchanan on a charge of disseminating indecent material to minors.

Buchanan is accused of sending inappropriate pictures and messages to someone under the age of 17. He was arraigned and issued an appearance ticket for October 14 in Cortlandville Town Court.

It follows an arrest last month in which Buchanan allegedly provided alcohol to a minor and had inappropriate communication with them. It’s unclear if it was the same victim. Buchanan was charged with three misdemeanors, including two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
