CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Cortland is hitting the brakes on paid parking.
Despite some changes to parking regulations made during Tuesday’s meeting, Mayor Scott Steve tells 607 News Now the Common Council has agreed to postpone any vote on a paid parking program.
The mayor tells us they’re working with SUNY Cortland on a parking study.
In a 4-2 vote Tuesday, Mayor Steve says the council approved updated regulations to “clean up” existing rules of the road, including no overnight parking from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.
