VESTAL, NY (607NewsNow) – An investigation is underway after a body was found in Broome County.

On September 12, Vestal Police were called to the area of Ridgehaven Drive around 2:15 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive elderly man.

According to Fox 40, the man was found dead in drainage area next to the Vestal Rail Trail. The deceased is identified as Michael Seeley, of Endicott.

Investigators say the death does not appear suspicious and they’re currently awaiting autopsy and toxicology results.
