SYRACUSE, NY (607NewsNow) — Congressman John Mannion is receiving endorsements.

Over a dozen labor unions are supporting Mannion’s re-election bid, including New York State United Teachers and United Steel Workers, District 4. The endorsements were announced on Labor Day.

“As a former teacher and union president, I know firsthand how important the work that labor unions do for our community can be,” Mannion said. “Central New York and the Mohawk Valley are built on hardworking people with good union jobs.”

In November, Mannion will face Republican Kailee Buller in the 22nd Congressional District.
