The Red Dragons started the game strong: At one point, Cortland led 28-3. Grove City tallied 15 points in the fourth quarter but ultimately couldn’t close the deficit.

With the victory, the Red Dragons avenged their September 2025 loss against the Wolverines. The visiting team has won each of the last two meetings.

The Red Dragons next head to Schenectady to face Union on Saturday.
