ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A popular snack company is issuing a recall.
On May 4, Utz Quality Foods issued a voluntary recall of its Zapp’s and Dirty brand potato chips.
According to the FDA, a third-party seasoning uses dry milk powder that may be contaminated with Salmonella. Utz officials say none of the batches in question test positive for Salmonella; they’re recalling the products out of caution.
There have been no illnesses reported in connection with the recalled products, which were distributed in stores nationwide.
