CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Cortland Common Council votes tonight on a housing initiative.
City officials say the pro-housing communities pledge would streamline permitting for multifamily and affordable housing and adopt policies for fair housing. The city says increasing fair housing is essential for keeping Cortland strong and vibrant.
The Common Council meeting starts at six, and Mayor Scott Steve talks to WHCU’s Joe Salzone Friday on Ithaca’s Morning News.
