ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Tompkins County Whole Health Department is currently accepting applications for a new program.

Commissioner Frank Kruppa tells WHCU the available funding is an offshoot of opioid settlement money the county received last year.

The Innovative Housing Solutions and Intensive Supports program has slightly over one million dollars to the winning applicant. Kruppa explains it will potentially solve two pressing issues.

All proposals are due February 23. The winner will be chosen in March. Find more information here.
