CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cortland County’s comprehensive plan goes under a microscope tonight.
Legislators will vote on forming a steering committee to pursue a new strategic plan for the first time in over four decades. The current comprehensive plan has not been updated since 1978. The county received two grants totaling nearly 200 thousand dollars to create a new plan.
If approved, committee members would serve through the end of 2025. Legislators meet tonight at six.
