ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A traffic stop has led to felony charges for two people in Tompkins County.
Deputies pulled a vehicle over on Saturday afternoon in Ithaca for a suspended registration and allegedly found crack, pills, heroin, meth, and cocaine.
42-year-old Barbara Barber, of Alpine, and 41-year-old Eric Walker, of Newfield are each charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
More charges are expected after a search of Walker’s home on Sunday, where the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office says they found two illegal firearms and a suspected meth lab.
The investigation is ongoing.
