ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca City School District plans to purchase more electric buses. 

Superintendent Luvelle Brown says they’re more expensive to buy than diesel buses. 

Before the start of the current school year, two electric buses were bought for Ithaca’s school district.
